DEAR YOU!

I wish you knew
Every word I write
I write for you
And I think it’s useless
Because I’m just heartless
This feeling is empty in it’s whole
And this world has grown far too cold
I just desire your warmth
And the whisper of your voice
To replace all the white noise
That crashes in my head
Over and over
A station on repeat
But you can bring it calm
Let me hear your voice again
Give me a reason to feel whole
Let me hear your voice one more time
Just let me know I should be alive
If not for you
Then for who
Give me a reason to take these breaths
That are timid in my lungs
Like the love I have and hate
I want to love you completely
But I can’t free myself
I wish you could help
I know you could help
Make me better
Stay forever
In my heart
In my head
In the dreams that are birthed in the dark
Like the cars stuck in park
And they stay
Even when you’re away
And I wish you knew
How I want you to stay
I need you to be there
I need you to be able to sleep again
I need your completion
I desire your complications

That Midnight Hour

The Virgin Mother kneels upon the floor
And holds her baby in her arm,
Her heart is gladder than her lips can say,
To keep her new born baby snug and warm,
A babe more sweet and fair and dear
Than any rose bud in the bright sunshine,
Whose little eyes look straight into her own,
O, blessed maid, God's son is also thine.
Twas holy midnight, when He came to earth:
As pours a sun ray through a limpid glass,
Not leaving any mark upon its face;
A drop of dew upon the fresh green grass,
A little star that fell upon her lap,
A cooing babe, that seeks her virgin breast.
The hopes of all the sin-cursed world
Upon this baby's eyelids rest.
And ever since the midnight hour is holy,
And millions of human hearts are stirred
To wonderment and love for Him who came,
To save the world, God's own incarnate Word.
He came in darkness, He who was The Light,
His godhead shone from clear blue baby eyes,
The curse of earth's first sin was lifted then,
That midnight hour reopened paradise.

YOU CAN TRUST THE HOLY BIBLE!!!

You can trust the Holy Bible from the first page to the last. You can trust what it says about the future, and what it says about the past.

There really was a Noah, who built an ark with a hammer and a nail. There really was a Jonah, who lived after being swallowed by a whale.

There really was a town called Sodom, destroyed by fire and brimstone from above. And God really did feed the Hebrews with manna, sent to them with love.

There really was a virgin Mary, who conceived Jesus in her womb. And it's true he came to life again, after being buried in a tomb.

It's true Jesus healed the sick, and gave sight to those who couldn't see. It's true he healed the deaf, and walked on the Sea of Galilee.

He healed some who couldn't walk, and raised three persons from the dead. He fed a multitude of people with only two fish and five loaves of bread.

The Bible tells us of hell.....a place for those not forgiven of their sin. And it tells us of heaven.....a place Christ's disciples are sure to enter in.

The Bible speaks of many things..... some easy, some hard to understand. But the Bible can be fully trusted, for it came from God's almighty hand.

So, don't pass judgment on the Bible. It's always right, never wrong. For God has given all its contents, and there's not a verse that doesn't belong.

No, don't pass judgment on the Bible. It's God's infallible Word. Just listen to God speak as you read it. You'll be blessed by what is heard.

Don't Go Looking by MATT DUSK

I listen this song every night, this is really touch song! such an awesome song, and Matt Dusk really has a great voice and I like it, *so jazzy* but unfortunately there's no song in youtube, I just find a way to download the mp3 and write down the lyric, but you guys please download it too, I dare you would never regret if you listen it! Enjoy :)

Don’t Go Looking - MATT DUSK

Cry sad tears, then dry your eyes and mend your heart
Life’s too short to waste sweet time, love is gone now you must start
Deep blue eyes smile at you across the room
You say that his brown, and he is not the guy that you once knew

Don’t go looking for, that heart you loved before
You cant replace him with the same kind of face
Don’t dream that sweet old dream. Its not the final scene
Be open to somebody else, someone new.

Change brings fear as clouds will always bring the rain,
But when it finally clears their sun will shine to make it bright again
Let love in, you might feel it deeper still,
But if you hide away, I swear you never will

Don’t go looking for, that heart you loved before
You cant replace him with the same kind of face
Don’t dream that sweet old dream. Its not the final scene
Be open to somebody else, someone new.

Don’t go looking for, that heart you loved before
Be open to somebody else, someone new.

Unique antioxidant in coffee associated with dramatic reduction in prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of death from cancer for men in the the United States. Other than being male, there are other factors such as age, race, and family history that may contribute to the risk. However, the screening tests for prostate cancer including digital examination and the PSA blood tests have been shown to be not always reliable. This is all the more reason that we need to prevent it.

A new study from Harvard University shows that consuming coffee, whether it be regular or decaffeinated, leads to a dramatic reduction in prostate cancer - and the degree of reduction is related to the amount of coffee consumed. Men who consumed six or more cups per day had a 60 percent lower risk of developing lethal prostate cancer. Those who drank 3 cups a day had a 30 percent lower risk.

So what is it about the coffee? Surprisingly, it's not the caffeine. Coffee contains hundreds of biologically active compounds, including potent antioxidant activity, the most unique antioxidant being methylpridinium. Methylpridinium is found almost exclusively in coffee. It's anticancer properties have been previously noted in colon cancer studies.

Also recently published is a Swedish study which showed women who drank 5 or more cups of coffee a day had a much lower risk of developing a certain aggressive form of breast cancer.

Previous research has shown coffee to be helpful in diabetes, parkinsons disease, heart disease, gallstone disease, liver cancer and cirrhosis.

"We're not yet telling men to drink more coffee," said the Harvard study's lead author, Kathryn M. Wilson, "but there's mounting evidence that if they do, they don't have to worry about it."

Interesting caffeine comparison: One Starbucks grande coffee = 3 cups of generic coffee = 5 cans of Red Bull = 7 cans of Diet Coke = 7 cups of tea.

MATT DUSK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE JAZZ SINGER! HE IS THE BEST!!!!

Matthew-Aaron Dusk (born November 19, 1978 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian jazz musician / vocalist. He currently has two certified gold albums: Two Shots and Good News, and three number one radio hits: "Back in Town," "All About Me", and "Good News."

Biography

From an early age, Matt Dusk wanted to become a performer. At the age of seven, he was accepted into St. Michael's Choir School, where he remained for eleven years. Originally Dusk performed opera and classical music but after hearing Tony Bennett and Sarah Vaughan records at the age of 17 he began to change his musical style and direction. In 1998, he won the top spot in the Canadian National Exhibition Rising Star Competition, beating out 654 contestants. However, Dusk was on a path to take over the family business, and in 1998 went to Toronto's York University to study economics. After spending a year in the economics department, Dusk could not forget his passion for music and in 1999 changed programs to study for a BFA in music, where his emphasis was squarely on jazz and popular music. He studied jazz theory with John Gittins, jazz vocal with Bob Fenton, and attended masterclasses with Oscar Peterson. Dusk was also awarded the university’s Oscar Peterson Scholarship and in 2002 graduated with an honors degree in music.
Before Dusk secured a major record deal, he recorded four independent CDs (The Way It Is being the only one re-released thus far), and many of his songs became popular on MP3 websites. In March 2003, he signed a major record deal with Decca Records. In 2004 Dusk was invited to the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas to perform as in-house entertainer throughout the filming of Mark Burnett's reality TV show The Casino on FOX.
His debut album Two Shots was released on June 5, 2004 and went gold in Canada. The album produced the hit single, "Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad", which was written by Bono and The Edge from the Irish rock band U2. This song was also the theme song to The Casino show. Dusk followed up his debut album with a holiday album entitled "Peace On Earth" which was released November 30, 2005.
In January 2006, Dusk traveled to Los Angeles to record his second album Back In Town at Capitol Records fabled Studio A. Here, Dusk recorded with a 58 piece orchestra. Back In Town features a mix of jazz standards and originals, and was released in June 2006. As a promotion, Matt included personally signed liner notes with every pre-ordered copy of this album.
In October 2007, the lead single Back In Town reached Number 1 on the Japanese pop radio charts. Matt Dusk is the first male jazz artist in Japanese history to reach Number one on the pop radio charts. This is his second number one hit, the first being 'All About Me' also from the record Back In Town which was achieved in Canada in late 2006.
In March 2008, Dusk announced the recording of a new album titled Good News. This album was released on October 27, 2009 in Poland and Canada and Holland (2010) and France (2011). The album features a new direction that vocally pays tribute to the style of swing/crooner jazz era (1940s-1960s) however is produced in a contemporary way. The album is a collection of original material and international #1 hits from around the world. In late 2009, Good News was certified 'gold' in Poland. In September 2010, the title track Good News reached #1 on the charts of French radio station Europe 1.
In March 2010, Dusk recorded the soundtrack to the TV series Call Me Fitz featuring Jason Priestly. The series began airing in Canada on September 18, 2010 on HBO, followed by world releases soon after.
On August 25, 2010, Dusk shot a live DVD concert special for PBS which began to air across America December 2010, and across the world in 2011. The concert was recorded live at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada with a 17 piece big band. The DVD was also released as a double CD/DVD.
Dusk is currently working on his latest album which will be released in 2012.

What Child Is This?

OH MY JESUS! This is one of  my favorite Christmas song of all time! I would never get bored of listening to this song. this is the best song ever written. I heart this song so deep and  that's the primary reason why I post it. The lyric is awesome and so melodic. I can feel the Christmas atmosphere every time when I hear it! just beautiful and feels like Christmas is getting closer! really really can't wait for that special moment!!!

What Child is this who, laid to rest
On Mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet,
While shepherds watch are keeping?

This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing;
Haste, haste, to bring Him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

Why lies He in such mean estate,
Where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christians, fear, for sinners here
The silent Word is pleading.

Nails, spear shall pierce Him through,
The cross be borne for me, for you.
Hail, hail the Word made flesh,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

So bring Him incense, gold and myrrh,
Come peasant, king to own Him;
The King of kings salvation brings,
Let loving hearts enthrone Him.

Raise, raise a song on high,
The virgin sings her lullaby.
Joy, joy for Christ is born,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

November Rain

When I look into your eyes I can see a love restrained, But darlin' when I hold you don't you know I feel the same,

‘Cause nothin’ lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it’s hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain
We’ve been through this
Such a long long time
Just tryin’ to kill the pain
yeahh..
But lovers always come
And lovers always go
And no one’s really sure
Who’s lettin’ go today
Walking away
If we could take the time
To lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowin’ that you were mine
All mine
So if you want to love me
Then darlin’ don’t refrain
Or I’ll just end up walkin’
In the cold November rain

Do you need some time
On your own
Do you need some time
All alone
Everybody needs some time
On their own
Don’t you know you need some time
All alone

I know it’s hard to keep an open heart
When even friends seem out to harm you
But if you could heal a broken heart
Wouldn’t time be out to charm you

Sometimes I need some time
On my own
Sometimes I need some time
All alone
Everybody needs some time
On their own
Don’t you know you need some time
All alone

And when your fears subside
And shadows still remain
I know that you can love me
When there’s no one left to blame
So never mind the darkness
We still can find a way
‘Cause nothin’ lasts forever
Even cold November rain

Don’t ya think that you
Need somebody
Don’t ya think that you
Need someone
Everybody needs somebody
You’re not the only one
You’re not the only one

Don’t ya think that you
Need somebody
Don’t ya think that you
Need someone
Everybody needs somebody
You’re not the only one
You’re not the only one

Everybody needs somebody

This is how I feel

How you flow through me
like water, like blood in veins,
like dreams in my sleep.

Daily Haiku on Love by Tyler Knott Gregson

Empty House

Can you see these bones and imagine them as the boards
that held this old house together? Can you look
closely through these eyes and see the glass that
used to hold out the cold?  The curtains, tattered
but still dancing in the breeze that leaks through?
Can you make out the outline of your own hand in the darkness
inside me? I wait for you to turn on the light
and paint the shadows out of these corners.
There are times I swear if I shut tight my doors
and lock the windows against the silence, I can just
barely make out the sound of your footsteps
or the echo of your laughter down my hallways.
Have you felt me wonder about what purpose a lock would
serve if the handles are broken?  What use is a door
if there aren’t feet to walk through it?
I am empty and my foundation is sighing with the weight
of all the life being lived outside my walls.  Still
I stand and wait.  The heat stays on and the bed
remains ready and I will always smell like home.
No matter how long you are away, no matter what
you see and what other floors your bare feet find
themselves walking across, no matter how many moments
are spent shaking against the winds and counting the
raindrops on my rooftop, no matter how the plants that
live between these walls wither and stretch for the sunlight
that forgets to come, I will always be here, as I’ve
always been here.  You do not need to curl your hand into
a fist and you will never need to knock.  I will let the
wind blow through me and pull the door wide open
in reverence to your presence on my porch again.
Bones as boards and whispers as blood and if these
walls could talk they wouldn’t whisper at all, they’d scream
and weep and laugh and throw air out of their lungs
like they’ve no taste for it at all.  They’d tell
stories, our stories and they’d tell them to anyone
and no one and the ghosts that float by outside
in the stillness before morning officially begins.
Do you miss me, these humble bones and rickety rooftops,
this sighing foundation and leaf covered grass? Know that
I miss you and scared to realize just how much a home
becomes a house when you’re not sleeping inside it.
I am here and waiting because the very opposite is even
more abundantly true.
I am an empty house, and I am waiting for you
to come back home.
